Freight & Shipping Policies

At Hi-Line, we are pleased to partner with a variety of freight companies to accommodate your business needs, ranging from small parcel shipments all the way up to containers.

For standard Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) shipments of $2,000 or more, we are proud to offer an 18% capped freight program shipping out of our Buffalo, NY facility.

Carrier Accessorial Charges Please note that our 18% capped freight program covers standard transit only. It does not cover additional carrier accessorial fees. When applicable, these charges will be added to your invoice. We will always provide you with prior notice before these charges are billed.

Accessorial charges not covered under the standard 18% program include, but are not limited to:

• Beyond zone fees

• Limited access locations

• Residential deliveries

• Call ahead or delivery appointments

• Lift gate services

• Any other specialized carrier charges

 

Shipments Under $2,000

For shipments totaling under $2,000, freight costs will be calculated and quoted individually. To keep your business moving efficiently, your order will be automatically processed if the quoted freight cost is under 25% of your total order value.
